Fantastic Frogs

As a follow up to our poem ‘Frog Song’ and our Big Book, we sketched frogs. We coloured them with pastels. We then had fun drawing flies and sticking on wobbly eyes. We think they look cool!

A Winter Tree at Sunrise

We are learning to draw trees. We drew the tree with black vivid and then dyed the background with sunrise colours. Then we added the seven Matariki stars.

PMP is Fun

PMP is fun. We enjoy using the equipment and moving to music.

Room 2's Winning Poster

Today Dame Susan Devoy, New Zealand's race relation Commissioner, presented us with copies of our poster. Our poster was one of three winners in this year's Race Relations Day Poster Competition. My picture is on the top row second from the left hand side hand side.

I Am Learning to Draw a Clown

Drawing clowns is fun.

Science is Fun

Today we made popcorn at school. We heated the corn kernels until they popped. The water in the kernels turned to steam. The steam needed more room so the kernels popped and were fluffy and white. It was yummy!

I Am Learning to Draw Myself

First we sketched ourselves in our sketch books. Then Mrs Grainger enlarged the pictures on the photocopier. We went around our pictures with black felt before we coloured them with pastels.
